TEACHER TRAINING · 200 HOURS

The BK Method 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training — an anatomy-first education in how bodies actually move, and how to guide them with precision and care. Next cohort begins in 2026.

Most trainings teach poses.
We teach bodies.

WHY BK:ONE

Our training is built on a conviction: to guide people in strengthening, lengthening, and healing their bodies, a teacher must understand how the body works. You'll graduate knowing not just what to cue, but why — able to protect vulnerable joints, adapt poses to every body, and speak about movement with earned confidence.

What you'll study.

THE CURRICULUM

01

Anatomy & Biomechanics

Skeleton, muscles, fascia, and the nervous system — macro-anatomy and kinesiology for teachers, taught so you can use it in a live room.

02

Asana Form & Foundation

Alignment principles across every pose family — standing, twists, hip openers, backbends, inversions — built from neutral-spine fundamentals.

03

Sequencing & Vinyasa

Surya Namaskara A & B as the backbone of intelligent sequencing — how to build classes that flow, challenge, and protect.

04

The Art of Teaching

Cueing, observation, hands-on guidance, and modifications — learning to see bodies and meet each student where they are.

05

Breath & Energetics

Pranayama, the nervous system, and the quieter layers of practice — where breath organizes movement.

06

Practicum & Community

Teach real classes with real feedback, inside a cohort that becomes your community of teachers.
