BK:ONE began with a simple intention.

Create one space where the whole human experience is supported. Strength, yoga, breath, recovery, community. One home where people can show up as individuals with their own stories and also remember that we belong to something larger. One place for wellness and one community breathing together.

At BK:ONE, we honor the reality that each person carries a unique path. Your body, your history, your needs. At the same time, we know every being is part of a shared experience of living on this Earth. Our work is to support both. The individuality of your journey and the belonging that comes from moving and exhaling in community.

Our approach to movement is thoughtful and intelligent. Strength and yoga are taught with clarity, precision, and a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Alignment and effort are not treated as performance. They are invitations to feel more connected, more efficient, and more at home in your body. We teach people how to move in ways that create long term resilience and real self-awareness.

BK:ONE is an interwoven offering created for interwoven beings. A space where physical training supports emotional steadiness. Where breath work holds space for presence. Where discipline and softness meet without conflict. We honor the many needs of being human. The need to feel strong. The need to feel grounded. The need to feel seen. The need to feel part of something.

This community exists so individuals can grow in their own way while also remembering they are not alone. Here, we move together. We breathe together. We become ONE in the ways that matter. The quiet recognition that your individual experience is part of a greater experience happening through all of us.

BK:ONE is a home for connection, clarity, and the ongoing process of being fully human on this Earth.

  • Hi, I’m BK.

I’m a 500+ E-RYT, a Reiki Master, and a functional mobility and postural restoration specialist, but more than anything I am a student of the human experience. My work has always been guided by a deep curiosity for how we move, how we heal, and how we come back into connection with ourselves and with each other.

For more than a decade I taught yoga as a way of helping people feel at home in their bodies. Over the years, that path expanded into strength training, mobility, nervous system work, and energy healing. What I offer now is the result of all those threads coming together. I care about intelligent, thoughtful movement grounded in anatomy and biomechanics. I care about precision and alignment that supports real life. And I care about the quieter layers of practice, where breath, awareness, and honesty meet.

BK:ONE grew out of this evolution. I wanted to create one space where the whole human experience is supported. A place where people can build strength, restore balance, explore inner work, and feel part of a community that is growing together. Yoga and strength are not separate worlds to me. They inform each other. They make us more present, more capable, and more connected.

In my classes and in private work, I aim to hold space that feels steady, spacious, and real. I teach with clarity and care, and I try to meet each person where they are with humility and respect. My hope is that the work we do together helps you move with more confidence, understand your body on a deeper level, and feel more grounded in your own life.

This path has changed me in countless ways, and I feel honored every day to walk it with the people who come through our doors. If our work together supports you in remembering who you are, in feeling stronger or softer or more at ease in your body, then I am grateful.

Thank you for being here, and welcome to BK:ONE.

  • Hi, I’m J.

I was born and raised in Portugal, and my relationship with movement has taken me to many places around the world. Time spent in countries like Italy, Russia, China, and especially Thailand expanded my understanding of discipline, culture, and the different ways human beings learn to move. Thailand was a turning point for me, where I immersed myself in the world of Muay Thai and the kind of training that demands both physical and mental precision. All of these experiences shaped the way I observe the body and how I teach today.

My work focuses on understanding how people move in real life. I pay close attention to postural asymmetries, inefficient patterns, and the subtle compensations that show up in training. These details tell me where strength needs to be built, where mobility is missing, and what will help someone move with more efficiency and confidence. My goal is always to bring the body into better balance so people feel capable and powerful in their everyday lives.

I have a deep respect for the athletes and clients I work with. Everyone arrives with their own story, goals, and patterns, and I try to meet each person exactly where they are. I design training that is specific to the individual, not a one-size-fits-all method. Whether someone wants to improve performance, build foundational strength, or simply feel better in their body, the plan is always tailored to them.

What matters most to me is helping people become independent in their movement. I want you to understand your body, build awareness, and learn how to train with intention so you can navigate your fitness journey with confidence. When you know how to move well, you become stronger not only physically but also mentally.

As a co-founder of BK:ONE, I am committed to building a space where intelligent movement, community, and personal growth all matter. A place where people can train with purpose, feel supported, and become the strongest version of themselves.
